About the Project

Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge (HKZMB), is a complex sea-crossing project, which consists of a series of three cable-stayed bridges and one undersea tunnel spanning the Lingdingyang channel, that connects Hong Kong with Macau and Zhuhai, three major cities on the Pearl River Delta in China. The 55-kilometer link is expected to be the world's longest and become one of the landmarks within the area.

HKZMB is designed to serve for 120 years, and completed its construction in December 2017, the opening to vehicular traffic will be in early 2018. HKZMB asked Jialifu to help build up its bathroom facilities with proper toilet partition system for the port sections of Zhuhai.

Initial Challenges

The cost of building the bridge is over 117,7 billion yuan now while the budget is 76.2 billion, saving cost but also keep the quality at the same time have been regarded as a important factor. The Material chosen should leave the bathroom a elegant and contemporary impression, while also economical and durable for toilet partition. What’s more, as a landmark, it will receive travelers and customers from China and all over the world in the coming future.

Solution

HKZMB gives a order of 128 sets for the four port sections’ bathrooms. The head rail braced style compact laminate toilet partition, Jialifu gives the most mature design for the complex requirements from HKZMB. Instead of using these kinds of materials, the compact laminate is famous for its sturdy and easy to clean, which will never get rust or corrosion. Besides, a compact laminate toilet partition can be more economical than metal or wooden one.

Designed for a 120-year-service life, a architecture like HKZBM with so much traffic every day, serve a time as long as possible can be very hard. Jialifu compact laminate can serve 15 years at least.

Result

The project for Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge is completed in January, and the bridge will be soon opened in the early 2018. Hope our efforts and products could serve people well when they going through the Bridge and undersea tunnel.
