According to the name--chipboard, most people may misunderstand that it is both moistureproof and waterproof. Actually, it is moistureproof but not waterproof.
Moistureproof elements are added into chipboard, which made it play good performance on moisture resistance. However, if it is placed in water, it will be musty. Under toilet environment, water resistance is much more important than moistrure resistance. So chipboard is not suitable for toilet partitions.
Most people still stop an old impression on PVC board, considering that it is a kind of plastic board. Actually, PVC board has gotten rid of such impression. The improved one is made of PVC core and HPL surface, which play better performance than old generation.
